I was recently involved in creating unique instruments based on analogue gas meters. The instruments were used in a recording by players from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a requiem for Gas meters marking the switch from analogue meters to digital.

I contributed 2 instruments. One is a 5ft long bass overtone flute loosely based on the Slovakian shepherd’s flute the fujara

The second is a unique small saxophone/clarinet instrument made from plumbing supplies
